BR WD Austerity 2-10-0 & 2-8-0

In partnership with Ellis Clark Trains we are proceeding with the design of this new project. Thanks to Ellis and Nicky Wilkes for providing the details and designs they have created for their OO gauge models, this has saved at least 6 months of research and shortened the production process considerably. We are making a limited run of just 50 of each class. The pre-orders will decide what loco running numbers and eras we commission for production, so if you want a particular loco please use the product page to register your requirements. The delivery is due mid 2028 so deposits will not be required unit next year.

The re-run of Britannia's is being reserved quite quickly, we have now instructed our Korean Supplier, SAM Model Tech to use their 2nd production facility and proceed with manufacture. We anticipate delivery to be mid 2027. The models have proved very popular, leaving the following available to order,

We now have limited stock of all the versions of Std 5's in DC format, if you require sound and/or weathering this is adding 4-6 weeks to delivery of the models.

There are just 6 left, of each, of the available 4MT 4-6-0 and 4MT 2-6-0 the remaining numbers are listed on the options in the loco ordering page

Our Policy

We differ from other manufactures in a number of key areas.

We are not trying to be all things to all men, we focus on one project at a time and give that 100% of our effort. Many eyebrows were raised when 4 RTR 9F's were announced in 2015, ours was the first one to arrive, we are still waiting for 2 of the others, and ours has been so successful we have had to produce a 2nd batch of 5 variations, All now sold out.

We fund our own projects, the deposits we ask for is to ensure that we have a viable project, there is serious money involved before we even see a prototype and once we commit to production, of a specific name or number for you, we need your commitment as well.

We only ask for a deposit once we have placed an order on the factory for production, this initial deposit is fully refundable until actual production commences.

Our models are shipped to the UK DC only, we feel it is unfair to ask modellers, who do not use DCC, to pay for this function and it also allows us to tune the DCC to individual locomotives. We fit DCC and smoke here in the UK, in addition to carrying out our weathering service.
